Holy Ghost
Yesterday my adorable niece Katie was baptized. So when we were out shopping for a gift for her I was explaining to Haydn that Uncle Eric would baptize her and then she would receive the Holy Ghost. Later that night when he was getting ready for bed he threw his blanket over his head and said, "Mom, look I'm the Holy Ghost!" Too funny!! At least I know he was listening.

More fun with the cousins
We took the kids to the splash park by the library on Tuesday. Which was great since it got up to 90 degrees! They had a great time running around in the water. I love the picture where Haydn has his arm around Lindsey. Too cute. It was so fun to have all the cousins together. They all had a great time and played so well together.

Green Alert
My mom and husband can attest to the fact that I am not a clean person. I enjoy a clean house, but I am somewhat of a messy person. I like to blame it on the fact that having two kids never gives me enough time to get something done from start to finish, but in reality I was messy before kids. I am however a health nut. This quality has only intensified since having children. When Haydn started drinking milk we started buying organic. With all the growth hormones they put in milk I had visions of him turning into the hulk. With Taite I started making my own baby food to cut down on cost and to know exactly what is going into his mouth. Recently I have been hearing a lot about the hazards of baby bottles. So I ordered these green to grow bottles.
They are free of phthalates and free of bisphenol A – a suspected hormone-disrupting chemical used in polycarbonate plastic, from which most baby bottles are made.
Also for a eco-friendly sippy cup I am getting this stainless steel one.
I am no where near to what I could be, but I am trying to make changes that are healthier for my family and the planet.

Grandma Sherl & Grandpa Ron
We had such a nice time when my parents were here. Besides the duck adventure, we took the boys to the park, story time, and out to Kayenta. They were such good sports to come and sleep in the bunk beds, race cars with Haydn, go to Riley's lacrosse game, and let us go out on a date.It is amazing how happy children are around their grandparents. I hope those of you that have them close by appreciate what a blessing it is. I hear the boys laugh and smile more whenever their grandparents are around. Here are some of my favorite pictures from the park.

Killer Ducks!!!
My parents are in St. George for a couple of days and the boys are having so much fun being spoiled by Grandma and Grandpa. After dinner the other night we went to feed ducks. There is a park close by that has ducks so we thought we would feed the ducks and then play at the park. As soon as the ducks spotted us they swam over as fast as they could and stormed the shore. It was like a scene out of the movie "The Birds" only with ducks and one big goose. After a few minutes of trying to get the ducks to not attack us a golden lab came running into the park and sent the ducks back into the water. Safety. Then the dog wanted to catch the rest of the bread we had. It was a crazy experience and I'm sure the pictures don't give the humor justice. I didn't stop laughing the whole time. After we went to Dairy Queen (my moms favorite). It was a funny outing and next time we try to feed the ducks we will be bringing our dog Mable for protection.

A few years early

Haydn asks all the time if he can go to school. He loves to play with my computer case and pretend he is going to school or work. So we got him this cute backpack. Doesn't he look so grown-up and ready for that first day of school. I'm so glad that I get to keep him at home for a few more years, but it was fun to get a glimpse of the future.

New blog
So I am trying to catch up with the 21st century and start scrapbooking. I have no space or any idea how to use all the fancy stuff available in stores. Not to mention the cost of it all. Although I do admit I like to look at it when ever in Robert's and pretend that one day I will be that crafty person. But alas it isn't so. I am however trying my hand at digital scrapbooking. Practically free and organized all in my computer. Much more manageable I hope. So to display my new artwork I started an additional blog called Snow Family Digital Scrapbook Check it out if you like. If you have been doing this for years I would love any pointers you may have.
