We spent New Year's up in Salt Lake with Riley's family after they got back from Japan. With all the new snow they had we were able to take Haydn sledding at Sugar house park. We had SO much fun. I hadn't been sledding since I was little and had forgotten how much fun it is.
One run down the hill and Riley and I turned into little kids. We were racing each other up and down the hill and Haydn loved it all. We laughed a ton and came home with cold noses.
Taite went for his 4 month check-up last week. He now weighs 12 lbs 12 ozs (6%) and is 26 1/4 inches long (80%). The doctor was a little concerned about his drop in weight. He went from 32% to 6%, but considering his brother did the same thing I'm not too worried. We started rice cereal and hopefully that will fatten him up. Otherwise everything else looks great. As you can see from the pictures he is such a smiley little boy. He is now giggling, grabbing onto toys, and talking back with goos and gaas.
We spent a weekend up in Salt Lake to go to the Nutcracker, do Christmas shopping and attend a wedding reception. We got there just in time for a big snow storm. It was fun to see some snow to put us in the Christmas spirit. It was also nice to leave it in Salt Lake and go back to St. George where we don't even wear jackets.
Aunt Megan held Taite so mom could take lots of pictures. We had a great time despite everyone coming down with a cold.
